What Is Lipedema and What Can You Do About It?
Lipedema causes painful, progressive adipose fat buildup in the legs and arms that is difficult to lose despite diet and exercise. Early recognition is critical for better care and outcomes.

Examples of Lipedema:
Lipedema presents as symmetrical fat accumulation and swelling in the legs and sometimes arms, with a distinct “cuffing” at the ankles and often sparing the feet. Pain, easy bruising, and nodules under the skin are common.
